PLASTICS RECYCLING WORKSHOP
LOGISTICS & LABELLING FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY

TOPICS:
The workshop, organised by the CREAToR consortium, has two main topics:
- Supply Chain Design in Plastics Recycling
- Plastics Labelling & Codification systems
The objective of the workshop is to identify for both topics:
- Status quo and current problems
- Possibilities for future developments and especially improvements.
Aspects discussed will be processes and supply chain operations, communication among the actors, legislation, requirements towards the product design. All attendees are invited to share their experiences, perspectives, problems, expectations on the topics and exchange views and good practice. The results will be used to derive first recommendations for a more efficient EU regulatory framework.
ATTENDEES:
The CREAToR consortium extends an invitation to:
- All companies involved in plastics recycling: Collection, sorting, compounding, use of secondary raw materials, etc.
- Experts in the field of plastics recycling
- Companies handling plastics materials, especially in the areas of: construction & demolition electrical & electronic equipment
- Experts in the field of plastics recycling
CIRCULAR ECONOMY SUPPLY CHAIN MODEL:
This workshop is part of the development of a simulation model for the design and evaluation of Circular Economy supply chains.
The participants will be able to give input and informs us about their requirements for such a tool and they will have the possibility to get access to the model after it is finished.
